Part 1:
Class: 3rd grade
Junior High School, a mixed ability class of 27 students
English level: B2-C1
Overall duration of lesson: 1 teaching hour
Brief description of lesson: the lesson explores the
connection between theatres as part of the healing process promoted by the asclepieia
(healing centres) in Ancient Greece and the latter's impact on freudian
psychoanalysis.
Materials and handouts: three short videos, a
powerpoint presentation, online exercises and worksheets.
Equipment and technology: interactive board, the
internet.
Classroom layout and
grouping of students: The students will be working both
individually and in pairs.
